El Tiempo Webquest

Introduction:
¡Hola! Our middle school has decided to start doing weather broadcasts as part of the daily announcements and we need your help to help communicate the weather to those who speak Spanish at our school.  It's up to you to learn the vocabulary and weather reports so that your fellow classmates will know what to wear to school each day.  Let's get started! ¡Buena suerte!

 The Task:
You will use the resources provided (not Google) to explore weather vocabulary and weather-related websites.  After you have explored, you will use your knowledge to create a weather broadcast to present to the class.

The Process:

1. Quía Vocabulary Activities:
On this website, do 3 of the 4 activities and mark them off on your sheet.

2. What's The Weather Like Today in South America?:  On this page, you need to use the map to describe what the weather is like in several cities in South America.  Check it off your checklist when complete.

3.  Weather Forecasts in Spain: You need to use this site to discover the weather forecasts and the temperatures in several cities in Spanish-speaking countries.  Use the search (buscar) bar at the top of the page to research several locations.  You may also use this site.

    4. El Tiempo en España:  Use the map below to learn about and describe the weather in different parts of Spain.  Be sure to write both the weather conditions and the temperature.  Once you have written the temperature in Celcius, you will need to convert it to Fahrenheit (which is what we use in the United States) using this site.

    Región: Andalucía (South of Spain)

Región: Cataluña (Northeast Mediterranean Coast of Spain)

Based on the weather video, tell whether the statements on your handout are cierto (true) or falso (falso).

    6. Lyrics Training
